Sites' Music School
We pride ourselves in providing quality music instruction in
southeastern Idaho. We focus on violin and fiddle but also provide instruction
in guitar, banjo, mandolin, and voice. Whether you have a preschooler just
starting, are an accomplished musician wanting to learn some new techniques, or
just want to learn to play an instrument for your personal enjoyment, we have
something for you.
We offer both private and group lessons at all levels, teaching students to
play with proper technique and focusing on a repertoire that is useful to the
student throughout their life. Lessons can be scheduled for 1/2 up to 2-1/2 hour
time slots. Lessons are $40.00 - 80.00 per month for weekly 1/2 hour lessons
depending on instructor.

Private Instruction
- One on one lessons teaching one or more of the above mentioned instruments
or skills. Lessons can be scheduled for 1/2 up to 2 and 1/2 hour time slots.
Lessons are $40.00 - 80.00 per month for weekly 1/2 hour lessons depending on
instructor.
Group Lessons
Lessons stressing either beginning technique for preschoolers; or duo, trio,
or ensemble skills for the elementary grade intermediate player. Lessons are
__________ per month for weekly 1/2 hour lessons depending on instructor.
Orchestra/ Small Ensemble Coaching
Middle school or high school aged program. Concentrates on skills needed for
college entrance or middle school / high school orchestra playing. We can
facilitate teaching; provide instruments, music, and stands; and can tailor
make a stringed instrument program to fit your school or group needs.
Recitals
Many recitals, jam sessions, and concerts are held at Sites' Violin Shop and
Music School or local venues. Students get a chance to play for an audience
and cultivate performance skills.
Workshops
The Sites' Violin Shop and Music School puts on fiddle and violin playing and
maintenance workshops throughout the year. We will put on a workshop in your
area if you are interested. Please call or e-mail us for a pricing schedule.
And we hold a yearly fiddle camp usually in June or July.
Competition
Students of Joe and Jacie have won (or placed in) the following
competitions:
Wyoming State Champion
National Small fry second runner up
Montana State Junior Champion
Nevada State Junior Champion
National Junior Champion.
Idaho State Champion
Oregon State Champion
National Grand champions
National Young Adult Champions.
We have
instruction for violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, mandolin, piano, banjo,
fiddle, singing and flute.
Students and
Instructors at Sites' Perform with many classical and traditional music
ensembles. Please check out our many different performing groups and musical
styles. Please support your fellow musicians and enhance your musical knowledge
by attending artist performances.
Many of our
esteemed instructors play in the Teton Chamber Orchestra in Idaho Falls.

Private
instruction ranges from $57.00 per month to $80.00 per month depending on your
private instructor. Sign up for fiddle club or orchestra at any time $10.00 -
$50.00 per term.
Practice
Program
Sites students,

they have a program that includes a tuner, metronome, scale studies, beginning
books and all 10 Suzuki volumes that can be slowed down, sped up or can follow
you. You can e-mail a practice report to your teacher directly or record a
performance and e-mail it to your teacher, friends or family. All you need is
the program, the $15.00 instrument mic and you are ready to go. Students at
